Lillafüred light railway

The narrow-gauge forest railway runs from the Észak-Kilián district via Lillafüred to Garadna, over a length of 14 km.

The route leads over one of the largest railway viaducts in the country, through two tunnels and along the picturesque Lake Hámor, passing the old furnace at Újmassa.

Yes, it runs all year; in winter with closed, heated carriages, and in summer it also runs on an additional branch line at weekends.

Lillafüred is in the Bükk, a short drive from Miskolctapolca, making it an easy excursion for our hotel guests.
