Introduction - Hotel Aurora Wellness Hotel

It is here! This is the place where the Northern Lights landed. Hotel Aurora's harmonic light show, worthy of a four-star elegance and modern amenities are contributing to the guests’ sedimentation. Miskolctapolca’s most popular hotel opened in November 2013 at the foot of the famous Bükk Mountains.

A total of 80 residential units, which 65 doubles, 13 superior rooms and 2 suites provide unforgettable experiences for our guests. Furthermore, our more than 70 square meters rooms offer the opportunity for several generations of family vacation. Our double beds, with their size of 90X200cm, provide the most suitable comfort for our guests, just like a double bed.

Our wellness area is nearly 400m2 where everyone finds a place for its own relaxation. We also tried to sneak the northern lights into the atmosphere with LED lights, which lit the seating area for providing a calm and peaceful atmosphere after a hard day.  In the indoor pools, young and old can have fun. Complete relaxation is guaranteed in our hot tub, thanks to our sparkling bubbles and their warm pounding. In our sauna world a salt room, an infrared cabin and a huge Finnish sauna await our visitors where our sauna master holds professional sauna seances. The wellness experience is completed by massages. Our qualified masseurs do their best to relax our guests.

Beyond the rest and relaxation, our hotel provides opportunities for conferences, trainings, professional presentations, lectures, family events, team-building trainings and company parties. The ground floor conference hall is 230 square meters, suitable for even 200 people. It is also allowed by its facilities for holding of smaller seminars simultaneously, as we can separate the hall into two smaller rooms, each 115 square meters with the help of a partition wall. There is also a meeting room for smaller meetings for even 60 people. Both places are equipped with sound and technical equipments. The conference rooms are provided with natural and artificial lights and air conditioning. We also provide catering for the participants during the events, even based on their individual idea or requirements.

A few steps from our hotel lies the Ellipsum Adventure and Beach Bath. This is the place for a self-forgetful, all-day bathing with its futuristic design, huge contiguous water surfaces, giant slides and pools for children. We should not forget the Cave Bath in Miskolctapolca, which has a unique cave system. The healing power of radon water can be enjoyed by all ages.

Need to mention the Bobsleigh track which is the fifth alpine bob way in the country. It is also located in Miskolctapolca, in the immediate vicinity of the Cave Bath. The length of the track leading is 800 meters through the oak forest. The altitude difference is 54 meters in between the lowest and highest point. Great fun in both winter and summer seasons.

The romantic Boating Lake, which is located in the popular park of Miskolctapolca is also built into the memories of the residents of Miskolc and the visitors, which significantly contributes to the colouring of the water culture of Miskolctapolca. The lake has been inhabited and made special by swans and wild ducks for years. Furthermore, Hungary's largest adventure park, awaits visitors on about 1,000 square meters with 25 obstacle courses installed at a height of 3 to 9 meters. For those who believe in masses and liturgies, we recommend the Rock Chapel, which was built in 1934 and consecrated in 1935.
